Helen is a queer writer and creative producer with a background in scripted comedy. An alumna of the Australian Film, Television, and Radio School and recipient of the coveted Screen Australia LA Internship, her work has spanned both studio and independent production, including Drunk History (Comedy Central), No Good Nick (Netflix), and The Virgin Intervention (Screen Australia / Galvanized Film).

Helen’s experience as a UCB-trained long-form improviser informs her collaborative, playful approach, and her writing is often described witty, inventive, and quietly tender. Her short play Dear Diary sold out its extended run and won the Encore Award at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Her scripted podcast Lights Out was showcased at the LA Scripted Comedy Festival at iO West, and her narrative-driven treasure hunts were a featured prize on Let’s Make a Deal (CBS). As co-creator and -editor of the satire website The Salmon Pages, her articles regularly attracted over 15k views.

Aurora is Helen's first choral experience. In her free time you might find her paddleboarding, collaging, or singing to her cat. She also ran a half marathon one time and will never stop bringing it up.
