Jacqui Loran
Board Member
Jacqui Loran has been involved with music nearly all her life. She began playing the piano at age five, and went on to learn flute, violin, guitar and mandolin.
She lived in Israel for many years, singing in a mixed-voice choir both in Hebrew and Arabic. She has also sung in several synagogue choirs. Aurora is her first women’s choir.
Jacqui had three careers: first as a nurse, then as a chef, and finally working as a paralegal. She is now fully retired and enjoying the peace and quiet of her St. Johns neighborhood. She has two adult children, and four grandchildren. She is finally catching up on her long list of books to be read and movies to be watched. She loves to travel and has been all over. Her favorite method for coping with stress is baking and canning. Her friends love when she is stressed.
