I moved to Portland two years ago, when my job as the Manager of the Grants Department at St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho went full-time remote, and gave me the opportunity to live in the same city as my daughter for the first time in over a decade. I have 40+ years’ experience as a bookkeeper/accounting manager for various types of businesses, both as an employee and as a volunteer for non-profits. Since moving to Portland, I have volunteered for several organizations, looking for a way to give back, and utilize my experience. Aurora Chorus has given me both an opportunity to serve, and a community of amazing women. When not working, volunteering or singing, I spend as much time as possible hiking in the beautiful forests of the PNW.
